Now this review is going to seem like I want everyone to buy this cap. Like Gore have paid me to say all of this. Let me assure you, they haven’t. They probably should When I run, particularly if it’s hot, I need something to keep the sweat out of my eyes. It does this. When I run at dusk, or even when it’s dark, I want something smothered in reflective piping and stripes so I can be seen. It does this. When I run and then bung everything in a huge pile, into the washer, I want it all to survive this and dry quickly. It does this. When I buy running gear, I need it to be high quality without being horrendously high price, and I want it to last ages. It does this too. I have a small head, I want a cap that fits and doesn’t do that annoying resting on your ears and rubbing until they bleed/hurt/distract you from your running thing. It does this as well. It’s a running cap that ticks all of the above boxes, costs about £15 (though I’ve now bought three, all for less that £13 delivered) and lasts about 500 miles and about 200 washes in my experience! Verdict: Go buy one. It’s essential kit and a good quality item at a very good price. |
