I felt quite tired this evening so I settled down on the sofa for a quick power nap only to wake two and a half hours later. Some power nap. When I woke, I was in a bit of a panic because I’ve yet to set the time on the clock in my lounge to GMT. I thought it was 10pm and realising I’d not run yet, I got a bit animated. It was only from checking my phone that I saw it was in fact 9pm. Phew!
Despite the rushing around to get ready for the run, I was still very sleepy. I’ve never run in this state before so it was interesting, to say the least. Hard would be a more accurate description. Thankfully I’d planned on an easy run following yesterday’s faster pace. The weather also agreed that would be best and blow a strong headwind (in both directions) to keep me in check.
Now, if you don’t mind, I’m heading to bed.
